Our Story

Our humble beginning and personal story is something that has always guided our philosophy and shown in our work ethic.

Founded nearly 50 years ago by Italian immigrant Luigi Badaracco from Tivoli, our company story echoes his life and achievements. After spending years as a stonemason repairing marble statues and fountains around Italy, he migrated to Australia. Here, he and his two sons built Tivoli Marble — working tirelessly to deliver excellence in quality, service, and authenticity.

The present owner worked directly with Luigi and his family for twenty years, learning in detail all of the technical expertise, skills, and level of commitment necessary to carry the company forward. That tradition is still very much a part of the company today.

Every slab of stone is a work of Mother Nature — each with unique characteristics, colors, textures, and patterns. The inherent beauty of the imperfections and light-reflecting attributes of the stones are a wonderful accent to any space.

We have established relationships with the finest quarries and stone traders in Europe and overseas markets, so that we can deliver premium stones to our customers’ exact specifications at cost. This communication and trust between suppliers, customers, and our staff results in beautiful work and satisfaction from all parties involved.
